You can now watch the documentary, that has been made by Kuiyu Kang'ari & Tevin Blancheville, about the one-week residency in June 2024.
In this residency, ten fashion practitioners reflected on questions of decoloniality, in the Dutch context in general, and in relation to fashion, more specifically. The documentary was part of an exhibition during FASHIONCLASH Festival 2024.
Following the residency week, a textile (linen) cloth traveled to Spain, Rotterdam, Amsterdam together with individual participants who organized activities within their own communities. In the soundscape ‘Let the Linen Speak’, the residential participants reflect on the question 'When do you feel rooted?'
